Biography
Hidetoshi Azuma is a national security expert and entrepreneur with a vision for creating and sustaining a resilient world. He is the co-founder and president of Resilience Japan, Japan’s first national security startup promoting the country’s cyber resilience through the power of entrepreneurship and innovation. Previously, he was the Tokyo-based Executive Assistant at Office of the President at Eurasia Group where he oversaw and expanded the company’s Japan portfolio while leading regular briefings on geopolitics of cybersecurity for government and corporate clients. His prior experience includes years of national security research and public relations career in Washington, DC, including APCO Institute fellow at APCO Worldwide. He is a regular columnist at the Japan Times and has authored numerous articles on geopolitics and cybersecurity in the US and Japan. He received MA from the Elliott School of International Affairs, the George Washington University and BA from Waseda University.
