Sarah Pappas is a CEO, entrepreneur, former D1 all American collegiate athlete who was ranked Top 3 in the US and Top 10 in the world in Pole Vault, and founder of Rair Burd, a women’s athleisure brand created to redefine comfort, confidence, and fit for women.

As a competitive pole vaulter at the elite level, Sarah’s path shifted after a career-ending injury while training for the Rio 2016 Olympics. What initially felt like a devastating setback ultimately became the foundation for a career centered around resilience, adaptability, and growth.

Following athletics, Sarah spent almost 10 years in medical field as a top performing for a Fortune 50 company, where she built a reputation for leadership, persistence, and high performance in a demanding industry. Alongside her corporate career, she pursued her passion for entrepreneurship by launching a social media consulting agency that eventually gave her the confidence to build her own brand from the ground up.

Drawing from her years as an athlete, Sarah founded Rair Burd after recognizing a gap in the market for elevated chic clean street wear that truly fit and flattered women. Her mission is to create thoughtfully designed pieces that help women feel powerful, comfortable, and confident in every stage of life.
